The Higher Education Appeals Board is the government agency that reviews appeals of specific types of decisions made by universities during the admissions process.

Decisions you can appeal
You can appeal decisions made regarding your eligibility for higher education studies in Sweden. For example, if you are deemed unqualified for a course or programme because you don't meet the general or specific entry requirements, you can appeal this decision.
What can't I appeal?
Examples of things that cannot be appealed are
- late or incomplete applications
- cancelled courses or programmes
- the selection result - whether or not you were offered a place
