Evaluation of foreign qualifications for studies
You have to meet the entry requirements to be offered a place on a course or programme in Sweden. An evaluation of your qualifications will take place as part of the application process, where it will be determined if you meet the entry requirements for the course or programme.
You can get a recognition statement in advance, but you do not need it for the purposes of studying in Sweden.

For courses and programmes taught in Swedish, proof of Swedish skills is a part of the general entry requirement.
All courses taught in English have an English requirement.
Admissions process
You apply for courses and programmes at Antagning.se or Universityadmissions.se. Both websites are managed by the Swedish Council for Higher Education - Universitets- och högskolerådet (UHR) - a government authority. The admissions process is a coordinated process between UHR and Sweden's universities and university colleges.

This English-language website is mainly for international students interested in studying in Sweden, though students living in Sweden who are interested in studying in English - and in admissions information in English - are more than welcome to visit the website and apply.
